Owners Greg and Kathleen Nolten have lived on the property since 1984. Their estate vineyard was bonded in 1988 where they currently have 18 acres of vineyards. Nestled in a natural valley, they are able to grow grapes that some of their neighboring wineries are unable to grow. They do dry farming and are organic, but not certified.
The original home on the property was built in 1875, and in use until it was destroyed in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. It is standing today, but severely damaged. The Nolton's are the sixth family to own the land.
